The Canada Climate Change Law and Policy Research Center is dedicated to advancing climate change law and policy through research, analysis, collaboration and information sharing. Our publications further this mission by exploring the latest developments in climate law and policy and fostering dialogue on climate governance globally.
Our flagship publication is the Climate Change Law and Policy Review, an annual peer-reviewed journal featuring scholarship on climate change law and policy from leading experts worldwide. Each volume examines emerging issues in climate law and policy across diverse sectors such as energy, transportation, agriculture and more. Authors provide insights into new legal frameworks, policy innovations and best practices for mitigating and adapting to climate change drawn from experiences in Canada and around the world.
In addition, our Climate Action Youth Handbook empowers students to take action on climate change. This handbook provides youth with background knowledge on climate science, profiles of young climate leaders, and tools to reduce their carbon footprints and advocate for climate solutions in their communities. By equipping youth to understand and take action against climate change, this handbook helps cultivate a new generation of climate champions.
Through publications like the Climate Change Law and Policy Review and Climate Action Youth Handbook, the Research Center expects to foster robust scholarship and dialogue to drive progress on climate change.
