Biography
Mark Esposito is a Swiss-born, American-based economist, and social scientist with a global portfolio of academic and advisory roles. He holds appointments at Harvard University, Georgetown University, and Hult International Business School, and is a research fellow at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School as well as a senior associate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
Professor Esposito is widely recognized for advising governments across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Eurasia on issues of fiscal policy, sustainable development, and climate strategy. As a Global Expert at the World Economic Forum, he has contributed to high-level policy design linking economic transformation with energy transition.
His research spans governance, emerging economies, and the intersection of artificial intelligence with power systems and grid resilience. He co-developed the influential Fast-Expanding Markets (FEMs) framework for identifying untapped growth opportunities, as well as the More 3P AI Transformation Framework, which explores how AI can enhance industrial processes through precision, personalization, and predictive capabilities.
