Professor Cedo Maksimovic is a Professor of Civil Engineering and Chief Research Investigator at Imperial College London, where he also founded and leads the Urban Water Research Group. His research expertise encompasses applied fluid dynamics in urban water systems, stormwater drainage, urban flooding, water supply networks, and the interaction between infrastructure and the environment.

In addition to his academic positions, Professor Maksimovic serves as the Chief Technical Advisor on Integrated Urban Water Management for UNESCO's International Hydrological Programme. He is an internationally recognized expert and advisor on urban water projects across Europe and globally.

Alongside teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Imperial, Professor Maksimovic contributes to research projects funded by EPSRC, the EU, and UNESCO's UK office. He is a co-founding editor of the academic journal Urban Water.
